Hissy Pop
I had a woman riding my bus today who had just come from Aldi’s with a few bags of groceries. I must have braked a little too hard pulling into a stop, because her bags tipped over, spilling groceries all over the aisle (that’s what happens when you don’t hold your bags, folks). Among these groceries were some cans of pop. As she was picking up her groceries, I opened the front door to let someone on. The door only opened halfway, and was accompanied by a hissing sound and liquid spray flying up in the air, soaking the windows and stairwell. Yes, a can of pop had gotten wedged behind the door and was ejecting its contents all over the bus. She threw the can out the door and muttered “I’m never riding this bus again.”
