The Devil and his devoured book

I have been looking for an outlet to this story for quite some time. I work in Nordeast so I typically ride the 6 downtown then transfer to the 10 or i just ride the 17W. This particular day I was riding the 10. After crossing the bridge on Hennepin, a man entered the bus. I was reading so i didn’t pay much mind to him. You don’t enjoy Christmas?

I was riding the #16 during the Christmas season a few years ago. If anyone knows anything about the 16, they know that there is an extremely diverse grouping of people. I was sitting towards the front of the bus and a Muslim lady was sitting in the seat in front of me. Directly in front of her was a lady, a 65 years old lady was sitting perpendicular towards her. There was obviously something very wrong with the older lady. She began to speak to the Muslim lady about Christmas. However, the Muslim woman could not speak very much English. Fire in the sky

I was going to work when an old guy got on and flopped down in a seat, drunk. He noticed me as I glanced at him and came to sit next to me on the nearly-empty bus. To himself he said, “I’m so scared!” so I asked him what he was scared of. “I don’t know!” He started leaning on me and asking me if that was the sun in the sky or if there was a fire, talking about stuff.
