Bus Tales - What’s happened to you on the bus?

When I was living in Portland, I used the 75 a lot, which, as anyone who knows Portland, knows what a sketchy route this can be, as it goes all the way up 82nd Ave (or, as I called it, Hooker/Tweaker Boulevard) and the aptly named Killingsworth Ave. One time, a few blocks down Killingsworth, out of nowhere a group of about 5 or 6 kids come out and start shooting paintballs at the bus. They mercilously unload for a full minute or two before taking off. The driver did nothing until they left, then stayed pulled over for another ten minutes while presumably waiting for the cops to show up.

All this time, one dude kept laughing “(Kids) shot up da bus! Them (kids) shot up da bus!” over and over again, as if he felt the first 300 times he said it was not adequate in conveying his observation. Eventually, the paint-splattered bus continued on its route without any police actually showing up.
