Can’t reach the pedals
The 4 had it’s hazards on at my stop. As I walked on to the bus, the driver mumbled something at me but i had my ipod on. After a few minutes of sitting there and passengers talking in the background, I took off my ipod and noticed that the driver wasn’t leaving because she couldn’t adjust the seat. This short round woman was on her hands and knees pulling and tugging on the seat lever to move it forward so her stumpy legs could reach the pedals.
I figured I would try to help, so I got on my knees and pushed and pulled the seat and it just wouldn’t move. Passengers were yelling at her to just sit forward int he seat and she retorted “It hurts my back.” Already 10 minutes late, I got off and just took another route.
