Pregnant and nauseous
Six years ago, I was on the 260 to Rosedale when this unfortunate event occurred. I was 10 weeks pregnant with my first and the nausea was overwhelming. I would throw-up every day precisely when I walked into my house after work. On this particular day, it hit just as we were pulling into Rosedale. I was determined NOT to throw-up on the bus, so I got up and made my way through the people as quickly as I could. “Excuse me. Pardon me. I’m not feeling well.” I was almost off the bus when this woman steps out in front of me, looks me directly in the eye and says in a snotty voice, “we’re all in a hurry, you need to wait your turn.” At precisely that moment, I threw up on her. It landed all over her skirt. I ran off the bus mortified, but could hear the others laughing.

HAHAHAHA, I’m ten weeks pregnant and luckily haven’t thrown up on the bus- but I’ve wanted to!

Ah, transit puking stories… I worked with a girl once who was riding a bus in New York with her husband who was on his way to a job interview. She felt nauseous and knew she was going to throw up one way or the other, so she looked at her husband in his nice new suit ready for his interview and looked at the stranger on her other side and decided he was the better option. Boy, that didn’t go over well with him, though.
