Bus Tales - What’s happened to you on the bus?

I will body slam you!

This happened a couple of years ago: this guy got on the 21 and paid for his fare entirely in pennies and nickels. It came up to 97 cents, still shy of the $1.25 that the fare was at the time. The bus driver said, “It’s fine, go sit down,” but somehow the passenger thought the bus driver was “disrespecting” him and he instigated a fight with the driver.

They started screaming at each other. The driver stopped the bus, got off and screamed for the passenger to get off the bus and fight him. The driver was like, “I WILL BODY SLAM YOU!!!!!” but the passenger wouldn’t fight him. Eventually the driver got back on the bus, the two guys started chatting, and they were best buddies by the time we got downtown. Bizarre.
