I’m a comedian!
I ride the bus every day to work and I have a lot of stories. I can’t believe what some people say or do when they’re on the bus. One of my favorites is a man who was sitting on the back bench talking very loudly to the people around him. He was going on about the Bible and Jesus, and how people should treat each other better, they shouldn’ t use drugs, etc. which is nice, but I always get a little antsy when people are talking loud enough so the whole bus can hear.
Eventually, he stands up and out of the blue declares to the entire congregation “I don’t smoke dope… I’m a comedian!!” He then rang for his stop and then continued on, “I’m going to take my leave of you now, but if you ever need to get a hold of me, just dial 911 and keep hanging up!” - with that, and a flourish, he disappeared out the back door to a stunned and amused group of passengers.
