Braided rugs on her head
Does anyone know what the story was/is with the woman who would ride the bus with about a foot of what looked like braided rugs or something stacked on her head, tied down to her head with a scarf type thing? Probably around 1992 last time I saw her. Who am I to say, but it seemed like she was on a field trip. Ahhh, yes, our beloved 16 route, vicinity of Snelling and University.

Yes, Snelling and Uni…definitly a crowd that is never boaring! I lived near there for a few years, until last year. I can’t say I’ve seen anyone with a “braided rug” on thier head reaching the hieght you describe.
But that would have been neat too see!
