A Bad Habit
I was staring out the window lost in my own thoughts when I was startled by an arm reaching around my neck from the seat behind me. The arm was attached to a hand, which was holding a small knife. I looked up and saw a grinning man with few teeth in the seat behind me. Before I had a chance to be scared, he gestured at my own hand. I realized I had been indulging in my bad habit of chewing on a hangnail, and this man was offering me some assistance. Thoughtful, no?
Less talking, more listening
I don’t like talking on the bus. It’s my time to zone out, think, listen to music, whatever. But not to make chit chat. Now maybe as a driver (Leon, care to jump in?) it helps pass the time, but I’ve seen more than a few clingy talkative riders that just won’t leave the driver alone. Purse dogs want a good view too
I got on the bus yesterday to see a woman with a rather large purse sitting about halfway to the back. Then her purse started moving. Turns out she had a very small dog in the purse. After further observation I saw that this very small purse-dog was wearing a dog-sized down coat, complete with fur-trimmed hood. After a little while the woman took the dog out of the purse and let it look out the window. It was very weird.
