It’s just a movie

I was heading home from work today, and just so happened to get on a bus driven by my friend Valerie (we went through training together and always chat when we get the chance). She told me that earlier in the evening she had pulled up to a stop on East Lake and seen a woman in a bus shelter lying on the pavement in a pool of blood! Continue reading ‘It’s just a movie’


A good shove

Man with large gym bag gets on bus. Sets bag down on top step. Man will not pay and tries to talk his way onto bus. Driver picks up bag and throws it out the door and off bus. Driver then gives man a good shove and he flies off bus, damn near into the Embers restaurant. Bus continues on it’s duties. Not sure if man was injured as I was on driver’s side of bus. This happened just west of Snelling… Ahhh, the beloved 16 route!


Friend who is a girl

It was my last trip of the night (about 11), on a mostly empty bus. A young woman got on and sat in one of the front side-facing seats. After a bit, she leaned in to me and said “can I ask you a personal question?”
