About 2 hours later, on another pass down this street on my route, it was “propped up” on the bench. I saw it, and did a double take. I had to pull over and check this one out again. Not only had it been picked up from the road (eww-gross ) who ever did it, stuck a cigarette in its mouth, and a crumpled pack in its paw. [Warning: Contains Pictures]

I thought, ok, before it bloats and gets really gross on the bench, I should call this in. The neighborhood it was in, has a lot of senior housing, and I could just see someone having kittens when they saw that! My dispatcher thought I was joking, and couldn’t stop laughing. So I took pictures with my cell phone, and sent one to her. She in turn called the city, who were also laughing really hard too from what she later told me.
