Right before my stop we were sitting at a red light. There was a homeless person on the corner [as is usually the case in minneapolis], whom she waved over. With a smile, she handed him a free transfer and we went on our way. I thought it was a very nice gesture. When we got to the stop where i was going to get off to wait for the six, the same guy walked up, with a friend. They began to bitch about what people had been giving them ["some lady gave me a bottle of water..what the fuck am i supposed to do with that?" etc], and count the money that they had received that day. They promptly decided to get on the six, go to a dealer’s house and buy some weed. These guys pulled out a roll of twenties, tens and fives…way more money than i had!

It was dissapointing to say the least.

Six years ago, I was on the 260 to Rosedale when this unfortunate event occurred. I was 10 weeks pregnant with my first and the nausea was overwhelming. I would throw-up every day precisely when I walked into my house after work. On this particular day, it hit just as we were pulling into Rosedale. I was determined NOT to throw-up on the bus, so I got up and made my way through the people as quickly as I could. “Excuse me. Pardon me. I’m not feeling well.” I was almost off the bus when this woman steps out in front of me, looks me directly in the eye and says in a snotty voice, “we’re all in a hurry, you need to wait your turn.” At precisely that moment, I threw up on her. It landed all over her skirt. I ran off the bus mortified, but could hear the others laughing.
